Participants IIMS 2011 Continues Increase

Joint Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) announced a number of exhibition participants IIMS 2011, which took place on July 22 to 30 next growing. Until last April when registered 22 brand new (April 2011), has now reached 32 brands. It shows the commitment of the brand holder agent (APM) to enliven the biggest automotive exhibition in Indonesia.

From a total of 32 brands that participate are divided into 24 brands of passenger vehicles (passanger) and eight commercial brands (commercial). Some brand new debut in the IIMs, namely Chrysler, Dodge, Geely, MINI, Smart, Infinity, and Astra Multi Truck.

While participants subscriptions, namely Audi, BMW, Daihatsu, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infinity, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, and VW. For commercial vehicles registered FAW, Hino, Isuzu, Man Truck, Truck Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Toyota Dyna.


The exhibition does not merely display the line of concept cars, hybrid or electric, but also the other festivities, including the Classic Car Show, IIMs Drift War, BMX JAM, Stunt Show, Touch The Car, and Trampoline Area. Also available is the area in order to try to test ride the cars mainstay brands that participated in the exhibition.

"Interestingly, we also invite national cars like the Hornet to be directly tested in this place," added Sudirman Rusdi Maman, Chairman of Gaikindo.

In a later exhibition, Gaikindo target of Rp 2.7 trillion in transactions, up from Rp 2.5 trillion last year. The number of visitors expected to reach 300,000 people (282,000 people last year).
