Automotive Updates : Viar Target 120 Unit Sales This Year

PT Triangle Motorindo as the manufacturer of the motor "Viar" target sales in 2011 could reach 120,000 units or growth rate of 24 per cent compared to the year 2010.

General Manager Sales and Marketing PT Triangle Motorindo, Akhmad Zafitra Dalie, told reporters in Surabaya, on Friday said sales of its products during 2010 reached 96,807 units, an increase of nearly 58 percent from the previous sales of 61,293 units.
"The biggest contribution from sales of motor duck about 74 percent, the remainder of the type of commercial motor (tricycle), sports and skutermatik (scooter)," he said.

Dalie explain Viar product sales nationwide currently occupies the fourth position after the product from the manufacturer giants, namely Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki.

Of the total motorcycle sales in 2010 to reach about 7.49 million units such as the release of Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), the market share of new Viar about 1.3 percent.

"The prospect of the automotive business, especially of motorcycles in Indonesia was still pretty good, so we are optimistic sales Viar will continue to grow significantly," added Dalie.

In order to pursue sales growth, re-releasing Triangle Motorindo motor scooter "Vior 125" which in 2010 received a positive response from the market.
